These terms govern the use of Argos. By remaining in a server where the bot is active, you accept the following.
Argos is a moderation and security tool. It helps the server team enforce their rules; it does not replace the human judgement of the staff, who are the ones who decide on sanctions.
So that incidents can be investigated, Argos logs public activity on the server: among other things, edited or deleted messages (with a copy of their images or audio), joins and leaves, the invite used to join, name changes and moderator actions. Deleting a message does not mean it disappears from the security log.
Faced with a well-founded suspicion, staff may enable enhanced monitoring of a specific account. All of this is limited to public server content and is detailed in our Privacy Policy.
The server may require you to pass through a verification portal before granting you access. That portal checks your connection and your browser for the sole purpose of stopping bots, raids and the return of sanctioned accounts. You may refuse: in that case you simply will not get access to the server, with no other consequence.
Warnings, mutes, kicks and bans are decided and supervised by the moderation team. Some measures may be applied automatically (for example, during a raid or against an alternate account of a banned user), but always under the responsibility and review of the staff.
If you believe a sanction was a mistake, you can use the appeal system available. Automated systems do get it wrong sometimes, and that is exactly why appeals exist.
You can check at any time what is stored about you with /mis-datos (sent to your DMs) and request its deletion with /borrar-mis-datos. Not everything can be erased: the hash of your connection and any sanctions in force are kept so that the right to be forgotten does not become a way to dodge bans. It is explained in detail in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of perfect detection. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the bot.
For questions about these terms, contact the administration team of the server. See also our Privacy Policy.
